I want to first warn you that because this product contains small pieces, it is not a safe toy for children under the age of 3. And if the child you’re thinking about purchasing this for is older then 3 but puts thinks in their mouths, it’s probably not a safe toy for them either.
With that being said, most of these toys that are for tots have this warning

The LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer connects to your TV and turns it into a computer screen. It looks and works just like a real computer.
Ok not quite, it looks like a big happy green dog (unless you have the pink one) and it feels, well like a plastic toy.
The ClickStart My First Computer is a great way to introduce your child to the marvels of computers while they learn some basic computer skills like how to use a mouse and keyboard.
There is a friendly green puppy named Scout that plays along on the screen as your child plays the game. When a correct answer is given, Scout is given a treat which can make your child want to get the answers right.
Although I have seen an older siblings and neighbors kids encourage my friends 3 year old daughter to get the answers wrong. Poor Scout gets no treat.
The ClickStart My First Computer will introduce your young child to core preschool skills and basic computer functionality.
LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer- What Comes in the Box:

This toy is recommended for children aged 3 to six, an that’s if your child hasn’t played with any other type of gaming system. Personally I don’t think any child over the age of 4 who has played with any type of computer or ipad will really get into this toy.
The LeapFrog ClickStart My First Computer has very basic graphics and any child that has played on a tablet or advanced gaming system might quickly get bored with it. It’s just too basic for the smart kids of today. It is ideal however for 3 year olds.
Although most people don’t seem to have any problems with this gaming ssystem, I want to make you aware of any issues that several people have complained about. I have also noticed several people complaining about issues with the keyboard and the mouse not working properly.
Many have also complained about the games being too basic and Leapfrog not adding any new games to their online library of games.
